You can also have a costly all-in-one motion sensor or security camera with a DVR unit, which is a ‘plug and play’ security camera.



These spy cameras can be obtained in various forms. Some of them are: 1. A spy clock, in which the camera is built into a wall clock and thus gives continuous pictures.

Color spy cameras can even send pictures through walls and can be kept in a flower pot, a fire alarm or a smoke alarm.

3. Bullet camera which is also small, can work for many hours at a stretch. It is weather proof and can hence be used indoors and outdoors.

4. Pinhole cameras are very tiny and can be even kept inside a tissue paper box, stuffed animals etc. without being seen. These need light to get good pictures. The angle cannot be changed and it is not compatible with web applications.

A pen camera is in the shape of a pen and can be used as a pen. It can work for three to four hours and has a storage space of a few GB’s.

6. There are cameras that have infra red vision that can take pictures at night and can adapt with a different lens to take pictures during the day time.

The choice of the particular type of camera depends largely on your personal requirements and how much you want to spend on it. There are so many options available, that you can choose the one you need. It would be best to buy one with varifocal lens, auto iris and infrared illuminators.
